just in process from upgrading to Roots magic from FO8. Last used about 6 years ago. Have a mish-mash data base of people. What i'd like to do is create a report (book?) that lists everyone in my database, along with all sources, notes, text, comments etc, and have it print in a format similar to a descendents book. I have no idea what this sort of report is called, or even if it is possible, so I'm hoping SKS here can point the way for me.

Make an individual summary from the reports menu. Check all the boxes and choose selected people . . . then select everyone in the database. You'll get at least one page for each individual in your database.

(If you have 1000 individuals in your database then the printout would be 1000 pages or more). You might consider sending it to an acrobat or RTF file or even a plain text file where you could browse through it on screen instead.

A descendant book would not include everyone in the database unless they all descend from the same ancestor.
