Pedigree chart

Children aren't shown on my Pedigree chart even though they are on the Family chart? I just got this program and I am sure I am missing something very simple!

A pedigree chart only shows the direct ancestors of the starting person. If you want the children to show you will have to do a narrative report for ancestors and children

If you're referring to the pedigree chart as a report then you aren't missing anything. The pedigree chart is not supposed to list all the children of a set of parents. If the starting person on the pedigree chart is yourself then the chart shows your father and your mother. The chart further branches out to show your father's parents and your mother's parents... and so on. The chart just shows the direct line of ancestors from the starting person to whatever number of generations you requested.

If you are referring to the main screen view called "Pedigree" then all you need to do in order to view all family members is right-click on a person then click on "family view".
