I may be the only one who wishes this but here goes. Could the marriage sentence be changed to: John Smith married Mary Doe on (date) in (place). Also could the index formatting on the spouse be at this point rather than the second listing of Mary Doe (birth data).

Marge, you're not the only one. Instead of the current sentence "<couple> were married <date> <place>", we need an option for something like "<name> married <spouse> <date> <place>". The bold formatting as well as the index formatting should be on this reference to the spouse. These would save a lot of time hand-editing.

When I do a modified register Descendant report under 3.0.4 I get the sentence "John and Mary were married in 1800 in England.". What version are you using? there have been some changes in latest release for wording in narrative reports.

My wish was granted! biggrin.gif I hadn't done a report since 3.0.3 so didn't realize that had changed. I think I wished for it to happen a couple of times. Thank you Bruce.
