Thank you for the prompt response. The "in" apparently only appears in the RootsMagic Explorer in the Individual Information section. Elsewhere it does not insert itself.
Lists > Fact type list > Military > Edit -- Use the dropdown arrow by the place prefix field and select "<<none>>". It works for me.
I did this. It works but not in the RootsMagic Explorer in the Individual Information section.
-- I would put the "During World War II" in the description field and add the description into the sentence if I were doing it. (IT shows up as <value> in the sentence template.
I use the description section to put " in the US Navy in the Pacific Theater" Then the sentence reads " Person served in the US Navy in the Pacific Theater during World War II.
