Thanks, didn't mean to duplicate, I guess I search the wrong forum before posting, will reply there.

My family has majority German & Irish immigrant roots, most eventually ending up in Kansas & Missouri.
As a TMG-Refugee new to RM in 2018, I'm still cleaning up my imported data, as I go reviewing & re-validating sources, also adding info from free web resources (census, FAG/BG) not available in 2010, If ever done, then will dive into serious research
I characterize my genealogy activities as brief periods of intensity followed by long periods of inactivity due to life’s disparate obligations. One sibling researches in-parallel, shares but everything old-school paper.
Professionally I am a electrical computer engineer & programmer in aerospace (RM need another programmer?).
Genealogy Program history: 1980s homegrown spreadsheets -> SQL DBs -> 1990s FTM -> 2000s TMG, very happy until discontinued in 2010, discouraged so shelved for years, 2018 RM7 dove back in head-first. As a TMG-Refugee suggestions are influenced by TMG citations, sentence structures and narrative reports.
Overall quite pleased with RM7; wondering when next major update will occur.
