It couldn't hurt to do normal maintenance things too: repair disk permissions, run a utility program like Onyx, or MacKeeper, or MemoryKeeper, etc. too. Also if RM crashes see if you can copy the crash report, that might give more insight.
To revive the thread: with trial and error, I got better results by correcting bad Reunion GEDCOM tags (DESC), some things better by importing into RM via Heredis, and some things best via directly to RM from Reunion.
Jackson opened a support ticket for me so we could troubleshoot a while ago, but I have never been able to log in to support (can't get a password). Suggestions?
I do hope that getting it out the door takes precedence over it having a gazillion new features. As far as I'm concerned, having native support for both PC and Mac and having just a few other new features so that PC users will have reason to upgrade should be sufficient to get it out the door. Other good stuff could then come in 8.1, 8.2, etc.
