In Topic: Including Sources in Charts

09 November 2016 - 02:55 PM

Thanks Renee, I don't know why I didn't see the sources check box on the pedigree chart options before. Thanks. However, it seems to group all of the sources as one source in the endnotes. Ie. I have 6 sources for a birth fact (birth record, marriage record and 4 censuses) for one person and in narrative reports it would show the citation after the fact as 1,3-5,7-8. In the pedigree chart it runs all 6 sources into one source under number 1 in the endnotes and only shows the number 1 after the birth fact. Is there anyway to change it to look like how it does in the narrative reports?

Thanks! First off, the ctrl+shift+u worked while running it through Wine. However, after reset there was no change, it still did the same thing. So, I downloaded a trial version of Crossover and now it works which is progress! I see where the freeze/hang up is in Wine now too. I see when it works properly and select (not click, just select) different source types in the list a sample of each type of source appears in the window next to it. Run through Wine, this does not happen so this is where it is hanging. I don't like having to pay for more software though so will test in a free virtual box first or think about setting up XP on another partition and run through there. Will continue testing on Crossover to make sure all features work and will let you know if anything comes up. Thanks for replies.

Ctrl + Shift + u. Thanks. I must have glanced too quick at the instruction! Will try that in a bit. Ta.
