Age at time of LDS ordinance

07 March 2010 - 10:39 PM

I have noticed that on many of my persons, their age (if they were still living, but they are not) will show up on the LDS Ordinance Fact line for some of my ancestors but not others. Anyone know why this is not consistent?

Customize the Family View Child Listing

07 March 2010 - 10:17 PM

In the Family View children are listed in the lower field with such data points as sex, birth date, birth place, death date, etc. I know I can scroll to read all the data but I want to remove some of these fields so I do not have to scroll to view the Family Search and Temple Ordnance icons. There should be a way a user can add or remove data fields from this window.

Family View Help

07 March 2010 - 07:08 PM

In the Family View children are listed in the lower field with such data points as sex, birth date, birth place, death date, etc. I know I can scroll to read all the data but I want to remove some of these fields so I do not have to scroll to view the Family Search and Temple Ordnance icons. Is there a way to customize this area of the window? I couldn't find it in the reference book.

RootsMagic-To-Go

23 February 2010 - 05:14 PM

I tried out the RM-To-Go last night and it's great. Brought it to work to run on my Intel laptop and I keep getting the message to check for an internet connection. My laptop is always connected to the internet and I can easily access other web sites. Is there something in RM-To-Go that would be overly sensitive to firewalls at work? If I can access Google I would assume RM-To-Go would also work correctly.

Quality Level of Sources

22 February 2010 - 03:15 PM

I understand the reasoning behind allowing us to select the 3 Quality items for a source each time and why a particular source shouldn't have a default, but . . . why couldn't the source citation for New FamilySearch have a default quality value? A large number of my sources for LDS ordinance data comes from my syncing up with nFS. The quality will be the same every time. This would save some keystrokes.
