The right way for this trouble can be zip repair. The software uses modern and clear methods of restoring zip data. It can work with big damaged .zip archives, it doesn't modify source data during restoration zip archives. The program starts under all major versions of Windows OS.
While using RM3, I backed up several databases, and the folders look like zipped up, so I know they are zips.
In RM4, I clicked Restore to restore these zipped files. I browsed for them and found them, but RM4 won't restore them.
