RM4 and mapping

31 March 2009 - 05:29 PM

Just a thought- is there a way when mapping an individual and all the places that they have been via any events, to have mapping not only show the pins as it does now, but to have lines drawn between the push pins?

RM4 free upgrade with purchase of RM3

25 March 2009 - 05:33 PM

I was just wondering how to receive the free upgrade. I purchased RM3 during the free upgrade time.
Should I wait for an email with a new key code or use my key code from RM3

Edit person screen

09 March 2009 - 06:39 PM

In the edit person screen, when I highlight a fact, on the right hand side of the screen is the residence details, if there are notes in the note field that I do not want, I can clear the notes but the check mark remains. My question is how do I remove the check mark. It appears that when I imported a GEDCOM,
there must have been some notes.
Thanks
Shelly

New to RM testing RM$

08 March 2009 - 09:12 PM

Please excuse my lack of knowledge of RM- I currently am using FTM2009 for my main program, have tried Legacy and now am playing around with RM4 all I can say is I can now be called a RM user. I love this program. Here is my question..... In the Residence fact, the sentence reads; Richard James "Dick" lived Wichita, Ward 4, in Wichita, Segwick, Kansas, USA on April 8, 1930.

Does this read odd to anyone else? Richard lived Wichita...... there is no "in" but if one changes the sentence structure it would now read Richard James "Dick" lived in Wichita, Ward 4, in Wichita, Segwick,
Kansas, Usa on April 8, 1930.

The second way uses too many "ins"
Any thoughts or suggestions?
