There is a definate error in the GED export from RM4. I think it is in the Source portion. Do not rely on exporting yet.

True so true,
The current memorize and paste functions are very, very much appreciated. (Over not having any) The adding of a source/citation to a series of existing facts is still time consuming. When there are existing facts, supported by a second source, the entry of the information is slow and repetitive. Even a right-click option on an existing fact that would ‘Paste Memorized Source’ to the highlighted fact would speed up the process.

I can’t believe there has been no response to this post.
Entering sources is the single biggest time consumer for me with this program.
I love the program. It is very much like one I wrote in the early 90’s. (but works)
I have been waiting to offer a suggestion along the same lines.

Problem: Need to be able to have a memorized source & citation automatically added to every, detail or person, that is created or changed.

Reason: While not getting in the way of new users, it would be very helpful for us that are trying to document our data.

A Solution: Create a button for the Toolbar that turns the function on/off. When active, a small binary window of the Source & citation appears immediately below the Toolbar on the far right hand side of the ‘Info View’ or ‘NAME’ window. This will let you know what the Source is that you are using and that it is activated. (Make it pink background or something).

Fact ain’t Facts without a source.
