Thanks Allan... I'll give that a try.

Actually, I had already downloaded patch 2.04a, which I erroneously referred to as v2.04.

Yes, the problem went away after I freed up more disk space. Actually the problem first appeared after trying to print an existing chart... not generating a new one. I'm assuming I was so low on disk space that Windows didn't have enough work space to print the chart properly.

If you open more than one wallchart at a time, this can happen. One of the open charts will have the wrong pictures in the person boxes, so take care not to save that one. I e-mailed their tech support and they are aware of the problem and are working on it.

For now, the safest way to cut & paste from one chart to another is to perform the cut, close the chart, bring up the other one and then do the paste.

By the way, the problem I discussed earlier about my chart looking different depending on which printer I used I think had to do more with my C: disk being full than anything else.

Thanks Alfred... problem solved!

The chart was originally created with the Canon printer as the default, but today when I used "save as" to rename the file, it grabbed the current default printer which turned out to be the Samsung. That's why even my backup versions of the chart didn't make a difference.

To fix it, I reset the default printer to the Canon, "saved as" again renaming the file, and it printed fine!

Hi Alfred... thanks for your reply.

Can anyone familiar with RootsMagic wall charts help me with this problem?

I have two printers, a Canon i950 color inkjet and a black & white Samsung laser printer. I recently "saved as" a RootsMagic wall chart with a different name, and now the results look different on each printer, although on the monitor it looks fine.

When printed on the color printer, the thumbnail photos on some person boxes are missing, some have reverted to a previous photo choice for that box, and some are OK. When I print the same chart on the laser printer, all the correct photos are there.

Recovering from a week-old backup still produces the same results, and of course I re-booted the desktop & the printer which didn't help.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
