To find the name in a gedcom, use the gedcom you imported into the database or make a new gedcom which includes addresses from RM.

Open RootsMagic.

Open the gedcom in a word processor.

Using Windows, tile both programs side by side.

In RM, go to Lists>Address list.

Highlight the first blank name and Edit.

Copy the first line of typing in the address. and leave the Edit address screen open.

Paste that line in the Find in the word processor to search the gedcom.

When the address line in the gedcom is found, take note of the person's name

In RM, enter the name in the already open Edit address screen of that address.

Go to the person's Edit person screen and link the address from the Address list using the Select address from list button if the address is not already linked.
