I run a copy of Family History on an Apple Mac Powerbook G4 using Virtual PC. My family tree data is maintained in Reunion 9 and to import it into Family Atlas I use a GEDCOM file. This works fine except for one thing: after I have imported the data I have to do extensive work on the place names to map them on to the places understood by Family Atlas (e.g. in Reunion I store such things a street addresses in my place names and obviously these are not recognised by Family Atlas). This would be OK if it were a one-time effort. However as I discover new ancestors and store their data in Reunion I would like to export their details and add them to the data already in Family Atlas. I don't believe Family Atlas allows me to do this. Instead I have to re-export the whole file and re-edit all my place names.

Am I wrong? Is there a way to add place names to an existing file in Family Atlas or is this a feature which will be added in a future release.
