I just recieved family atlas. I went to help menu and checked for updates. This is what I got: "404 - File or directory not found". Any suggestions? I have version 1.0.4.80 (28 Nov 2006). Is this the latest version?

Also I had to load my rootsmagic tree with gedcom format instead of with the rootsmagic format? Any suggestions?

Thanks new to family atlas.

Try:
http://www.familyatlas.com/

It looks like the latest version is 1.0.5

Maybe I should get with it, I still have 1.0.2.70 (18 Oct 2006)
-- but with a dialup connection, I think it is probably good enough for me. -- ONLY 2.9MB, I guess I will try it. -- It seems to be working

========= Edited ===============
That's weird, I clicked on the link to go the the Family-Atlas update then copied the address from the address bar without checking it and it was just Familyatlas.com, but if I copy it to a bookmark and get it from there it has the updates path in it like this:
http://www.rootsmagi...es/Family-Atlas

those three dots, (elipsis, I think) represent c.com/Update

This crap is getting too complicated for an aldtimer.

=========== AGAIN =============
I just went through the same path:
RootsMagic Home page, clicked on Updates, then on Family-atlas and the address bar NOW shows the complete path, with updates in it-- The heck with it, I am going to bed!

This is the more direct link to the "updates" page for Family Atlas:
