I recorded most of my genealogy work in Family Origins and inported all via GEDCOM into RootsMagic. I had created a fact type of Ref # to each entry to identify to location of the original record information. I would like to edit this fact type to show in RootsMagic as: FO rec #

I am assuming that the "Rec #" fact imported into RootsMagic as it should.

Go to the Lists menu, select Fact Types List, scroll down to "Rec #" and click the Edit button.

Now, I am not sure what you want to do, change the name of the fact or the sentence structure, but you can do either right here.

Either just change the name, or go to the bottom and select the fact field(s) you want to use, in the order you want them in the sentecs and add any connecting words you like before, between or after them.

There is a sample sentenc just below the edit field that gives you some idea of how your sentence will read.
