I am trying to put a icon on the tool bar.

I right click the tool bar, click customize, commands, then find the tool I want to add and drag it to the tool bar.

The problem is it will not stick. It has the x that indicates that I can not drop it there.

Is there something I am missing? Is there a place to maybe lock the tool bar?

I am using RM 4.0.1.0 (25 Mar 2009)

Thanks
Roger

You need to first opt to create a NEW Tool Bar and give it a name. Only then you can click and drag any new tool bar icons on to that new tool bar you created. Click on Help and then Index, type in Tool Bar in the search field and it tells you how to do it.

If you are using the RM4 default Toolbar, it can be Reset to RM4's defaults on the Customize screen.

I don't know if that will help or not. I'm not having any problems so I can't test it.

I find that you can drop a tool on the used part of the toolbar, between other tools, but not to the right of the occupied part.
