I have accidently imported the same GEDCOM into my data base....I have tried to merge them, but I still have over 1200 names it does not recognize as the same....Is there any way to merge them other than manually? Thanks

You didn't make a backup of your database before importing the GEDCOM file. Shame, Shame, SHAME!

You can do the "Duplicate Search/merge" and it will find possible duplicates for you to decide whether to merge or not merge.

Other than that, you did learn something. Do a backup before importing any GEDCOM file.
