german version or german reports

Nice idea. I would suggest not do a separate version, instead let people switch in the menu which language they would like to use. I have seen this often in other programs. biggrin.gif

That was my wish already in the "old" forum formalsoft.com (Family Origins),
but their was no readiness to do this. I work before 4 years ago with the german program of Parsons Ahnenforscher 4.0 (a translation from FO 4.0!) But their was no development after 4.0 After that I bought in the USA the program Family Origins 9.02.
Now I hope. that the developers from Roots magic bring ultimate a german version from this program.
Otherwise I do not buy Roots magic and work also in the future with FO 9.02.
It can not be so difficult to bring out a german Version from Roots magic!!!

But i need a file to translate it!!!

unfortunately, i have no answer from roots magic.

I would like no money to translation.

i only want a german version for me and other users.

Hi,

I also wish a German version of RootsMagic. So far I live with the english reports. But mostely I give them to my parents and relatives who can not read englisch. I do not want the "Familiy Tree Maker" which is available in a German version. I had Family Tree Maker 11 and switch to RootsMagic, which I like better. But recently I am thinking to go back to Familiy Tree Maker just so the reports are in German.

It should not be so difficult to change reports. Most words can be changed already in the fact options. But words like he or she can not be changed.

Something really useful for future versions.
