FIND EVERYWHERE function misses words

I have been in the habit of using 'Find everywhere' under the SEARCH options when I find, or a family member finds, a spelling mistake in my reports. If I have made a spelling mistake once, I may have made it more often.

Recently a misspelled word was not found in the RM database using "Find everywhere", but was found when I generated an .rtf file, and used the WORD search function. Has anyone noticed this? Any ideas as to why RM missed the spelling mistake?

There are many places that Find Everywhere doesn't look. In other words, it doesn't really find literally everywhere. It should be called Find Lots of Places but not Everywhere.


Where in RM was your misspelled word?
