I have decided to pare down my tree. Many years ago, I maintained a family history website, which I created by converting my FTM file to a gedcom, then running gedcom utility program which pared my new gedcom file by deleting any individuals who were not my direct ancestors, their non-ancestor spouses, and their descendants and their spouses for three generations (that is, anyone who was a 2-great-grandchild or later or the spouse of such a person from a nearest common ancestor to me was deleted, while anyone who was a child, grandchild, great-grandchild, or spouse of such descendants was retained). I then converted the resulting new gedcom to html using ged2html.

I'd like to similarly delete distantly related individuals from my RootsMagic database. Short of doing this one at a time, is their a tool to do this in a batch? If not, such a tool would be on my wish list.

Through the VERY helpful support at RootsMagic, I was able to do exactly what I wanted using drag and drop. Thanks!!!
