I would like to see all the fields, such as City in address, searchable/sortable in the Master To-Do list so if one is making a trip to a City, for example, I could get all my ToDos for that city at the top of the list, instead of searching for them one-by-one.

Change the first word of your to do list to a city, state or.... so you can easily find it.

Confirming this is on the enhancement request list. If you need to find something inside of a To-Do item you can use Search>Find Everywhere.
