Hello,

I went to edit some stuff with the RootsMagic 7 about a week ago, and saw I couldn't edit anything. I have updated, restarted, etc and still am unable. I can add NEW facts but can't edit any that already exist.

I've included a screencap to show that it's not there. How do I get the editing back?

Thank you!

Maybe your window is stretched out too wide. See if clicking the Maximize icon helps - it's to the left of the X (Close) icon in the upper right corner. Or try to drag the edges of the window smaller.

Tried that, same thing. Same result, and there isn't even a little sliver of it being there.

I've just uninstalled completely and reinstalled, no luck.

This is what it looks like when brought away from the side of the screen.

Under File > Database Tools, did you run all the 4 items listed?

When in the main view, key ctrl+shift+u to execute a RM system reset.

First, maximize the Main RootsMagic screen (before opening the Edit Person screen)
Then, open the Edit Person screen and maximize it also. I ~believe ~ you should then be able to see that sliver that you desire (along the right edge).
I say this only because I'm unable to completely hide that sliver when BOTH are maximized.
