Greetings,

I had a very easy time using the NEW TreeShare Upload & Connect for uploading my data and Media to Ancestry on my Desktop Computer.  No Problems.

 

Once completed, I thought I could access the same Tree Share functions on my Laptop.  I only get the first screen, Upload or Download Content on the laptop.  Both have RM v7.5.9 and I am signed in on Ancestry.  Both Win 10.

 

I really need to have the Tree Share functionality on my laptop.  What am I missing? 

One thing, I have my product Key, but not sure if I ever registered it.   Could that be the issue?

Did you make a backup of the database after you uploaded it and then restored it on the laptop? The connection should be there.

Thank you for the reply Renee.  I did make a back up, but did not restore it to Laptop because the file on laptop was the same.

Trying to understand.....are you saying that there is something unique in the backup file that my laptop data file does not have?
