I inherited my family's genealogy in Roots3 from the mid '90s.

Does anybody have any software that can help me extract this work and migrate it to a more current data format (preferably Gedcom)?

Thank you,

RM7 can import your RM3 database and write a GEDCOM. You can download the free (limited) version to do this from http://www.rootsmagi...Try/RootsMagic/

When writing the GEDCOM just be aware that there are RM specific items that could be written out. You need to decide if you want them or not and make the appropriate selection when creating the GEDCOM.

If it's mid 90's, it's probably not RM3. Rather, it probably really is Roots 3 which is a different program altogether.
