Could someone point me to or give me a primer on how to integrate my RootsMagic data with my FamilySearch tree?  I have a very large database in RootsMagic with lots of sourced details about individuals. Do I have to go in by hand and transfer each person and each source citation?  I am tech savvy but I've just never explored this subject and would like some advice before I proceed.

I am using Version 4 of RootsMagic.  I would consider updating if that's preferable.

I apologize in advance if this post seems elementary or if it has already been discussed.

FamilySearch Family Tree is a collaborative tree. To restrict duplication they only allow adding one person at a time. To be careful about removing facts already there you update facts one at time. Each addition needs a reason statement. Sources are tagged on FamilySearch and need to be added one at a time.

RootsMagic is the only version that will work with FamilySearch so an upgrade is necessary for you.
