I have a little problem. I have some living famous people in my database (e.g Barack Obama, George Bush, etc). When creating a Publish Online website, how should I go about privatizing all the living people, except those I've marked as "famous". I have a custom private fact called "Flags" that I use for various purposes. If "Flags" contain a "Z" in means the person is considered famous.

All I can think of is to mark them as "dead", or at least uncheck the "Living" box. That seems like it would at least be bad luck, if nothing else. Does the "Living" box have any purpose other than to control who gets privatized and who doesn't?

Privatizing and searching by Living flag are the only functions I can think of. I would also mark them "dead" to simplify things.

That's what I've done. I think it also inserts a "DEAT Y" into any GEDCOM the gets created.
