I added quite a few photos and documents a few years ago and didn't realize that if I moved them to different locations on my computer they would no longer show up on RM.  Instead I have a red X where they used to be.  I called about another problem and the woman who helped me also told me how to get my media items back.  I didn't write it down and now I can't remember how to do the rest.  Does anybody know what I'm talking about and can you please post the instructions?  I can't find them in the knowledge base.  Thank you,

It sounds like the links from RM to your multimedia files are broken.

Go to Lists > Media gallery

In the top row, select the [Tools] button > Fix broken media links

As long as each of your media files have a unique name, this tool will work beautifully.

If you ever named files the same (perhaps thinking that if in different folders that would be OK) then the "Fix broken media links" tool will have no way of knowing which file you prefer to have linked, and it will link the first one it finds while searching your hard drive.
