I have some bad habits. One of them is entering partial sentences in notes fields. I've learned that even the personal notes for the witness of a shared event ends up in the book. So, I've been trying to changes things like "Smith, 20s" to "She was named Mary Smith and left 20 shillings by his will." I've got a lot to clean up if I want book output to look even reasonably decent.

What are some of the techniques, that I may not understand to make book format output look better? I'm particularly vague on how RM handles place names in books. One of my complaints is how they are repeated unnecessarily often.
