I submitted a support request on this as well, but it recommends reaching out here too.

In my Legacy 9.0.0.198 database, I use date ranges often. The RootsMagic Legacy import lost the ranges, which is a big loss of information. I need to have the ranges preserved.

For example, in Legacy I have John birth date of 6 Oct 1818 - 5 Oct 1819. However, after the import in RM7 I only have the birth date as 6 Oct 1818. RM7 lost key information, so I think this should be a high priority bug.

For others information, the support response on this was that it is indeed an issue with no fix time ETA.

Workarounds are to either use the GEDCOM export/import (which doesn't pull all data), or to create a GEDCOM-based import as well as direct-import, then use the compare files feature to check the two and manually copy over dates. Both of these were unacceptable for me to switch over, so I will be using the Money Back Guarantee.
