I have a Mac with High Sierra running.  I have done the suggested uninstall and I still have problems with the program not completing the task of importing from FamilySearch.  At the end of the import it just sits there.  When I try to click on the 'cancel' button it doesn't respond. The steps I must go through is to quit Rootsmagic and then do a forced quit on the app.  I then must restart the program, open the file that was used for the import, then click on the FamilySearch icon, then click on its close button for the process to complete.

I might also add that I have the Firewall setting to allow for the Rootsmagic app.

Are you importing into a new blank database?

Here is an update.

When asked if I was importing into a blank database I decided to try something.  I created a new database and just typed myself in.  I then closed the database and then reopened it.  I then did an import from FamilySearch.  This time it worked.  So I'm not sure what the difference is in the software but this appears to fix the problem or at least is a work around.
