The Online Map feature in CountyCheck Explorer is not working for me.  I get the following error message, for example, when I click on the Online Map button while viewing New York, New York, United States:

Not Found

The requested URL /ahcbp/website/New_York was not found on this server.

Looks like the links need to be updated.

Newberry Library has been down for a while. They changed their website and links.

Actually, they have been UP for a while.  See, http://publications.newberry.org/ahcbp/ RootsMagic needs to change the URLs.  For example, here's the URL for Arizona.  http://publications.newberry.org/ahcbp/map/map.html#AZ  When will that be done?

I don't know, it's on the development list. I was told it wasn't a simple URL change as it was before. Each link has to be redirected.

Thanks for the quick reply.  Is there a list of what's on the development list?  Is there some place where we can vote on the things in the queue??

No, the development list isn't open to the public.

BTW, the visual text of the new link for AZ is correct, BUT the actual URL linked to that text incorrectly has %C2%A0 appended, on the end, causing it not to work. Should be just:

"No, the development list isn't open to the public."

I think maybe this is one of the issues. Feel like in the dark. We not Public here - we owners and Beta Testers.

I just downloaded ver 7.5.4.0 with no explanations given.

Is there a link that gives the part of the development list included in this new version?

I now believe my Ancestry Tree to be hopelessly out of sync - so a new upload maybe necessary.

Thank you Renee for all you have done for us.

thanks

Bill

This is a link to the forum page that has the RootsMagic 7 Update History.

http://forums.rootsm...update-history/

The reason why our users won't ever see a public development list is because it's exactly the type of list our competitors would want to see. This list is gathered from all our forum, and social media sites, phone calls, tickets and conferences interactinos. This is something our competitors could never gather on their own. Our sites are continually being monitored and recorded for enhancement requests. Repeating an enhancement request is never an issue.
