After using the Tools > Set Relationships function, RM displays the (in the Family View only) the relationship of the currently-highlighted person to the base person for Set Relationships. I like and use that feature, as do many other RM users.

It would be nice to have these calculated relationships also show on the Descendants and People views.

I thought the calculated relationship of the selected person was always shown at the bottom of the screen in all views. I have not checked to confirm that.

The relationship is on the lower left hand corner in all six main views.

Oo-oo-ps. Embarrassing faux pas. I was clearly working on some unrelated (unconnected to the main tree) who should eventually get linked.

It's very easy to miss the onscreen relationship indicator. It needs to be larger. It needs to be in a more prominent location on the screen. And it really, really needs to include spouse info - e.g., spouse of first cousin or spouse of third cousin twice removed.

Absolutely right on, Jerry, on both counts.
