I have always used a PC.  I recently completed a photo scanning project that I am going to give to some family members in addition buying Roots Magic for them.

My questions are these.  One of the people uses a MAC.

Do I have to buy a particular flash drive for the MAC user?   If not, will she be able to copy my photos and Restore my RootsMagic Backup that will come from my PC?  I understand I will need to purchase the MAC version of Roots Magic for her.

Thanks, Rod

Current versions of Windows and the MacOS can read the same USB sticks. There are some peculiarities (as I recall the MacOS creates some hidden files that Windows doesn't use), but I have many times over the years shared data with Mac friends using a USB stick. Have no fear, the geeks finally <grin> agreed to talk to each other after their proprietary spats in the 80's and 90's.
