I downloaded my ancestry.com tree to RootsMagic.

That works well.

I then spent several days at ancestry.com updating a branch of the tree.

I probably added 100 facts to about 20 people in that part of the tree.

I can't find an easy way to pull down all those changes into Roots Magic.

Is there something I am missing?

If I go to TreeShare in Roots Magic and show only changed people, I can see the changes.

But, to merge them, I have to go one person at a time, check off each fact, one by one and then accept the changes person by person.

I really want a way to accept all changes with a single click.

Am I missing something?

No, you're not. Once past the TreeShare upload or download to a new Tree/database, further changes have to be reviewed and acted on individually. A bulk accept changes has been frequently requested and is believed to be in the works.

In your case, where the changes have all occurred at one end, you might as well go the new TreeShare route, provided the repeated media transfer does not blow up your Internet quota.

Tom,

Thanks for confirming that I am not blind and did not miss a critical button.

I think the only viable option is to delete the Roots Magic tree and then download it again from ancestry.com.

Stupid, but much easier and faster than going one by one through the changes at ancestry.

I have unlimited internet through FIOS.
