Can't sign into to family search in RM

Can't sign into to family search in RM when I click on the family search icon.   I have no problem logging DIRECTLY into family search.  I AM using the correct sign on and PW in RM.

 

Also after exiting the sign on in RM to family search, RM locks up.  Had to use task manager to close RM.

 

Forgot to mention I am on RM version 7.2.3.0

Same error again today.  Am I the only person having this issue?   I have NO problems signing on directly to familysearch, but cannot use the familysearch hint icon.

You need to update to version 7.2.4.0.  Then go to File>FamilySearch Central and login there.

I'm having the same problem. I'm using version 7.5.4.0 and this is a big problem for me.

If you have version 7.5.4.0 installed then there are a few things to check.

 

1. Check that you can login on the FamilySearch.org website.

 

2. Temporarily turn off you firewall, antivirus, and internet filtering software to see if they are blocking RootsMagic's access to the internet.

 

3. In a main view use the key command Ctrl+Shift+U and select "Reset Program Settings". Then close RM. When you open go to File>FamilySearch Central and see if you can login.

I have not been able to log into FamilySearch Family Tree for a long time. 

 

I have Version 7.5.4.0 (the most recent update), changed my password today, and still cannot log in. 

 

I tried all the suggestions, turning off the firewall, etc. Reset Rootsmagic as suggested, still cannot log into familysearch family tree.

 

Note: I resolved this by allowing Roots Magic through my firewall.
