Unable to add new names to family tree from Rootmagic 7

I am currently unable to add new names to family tree from my Rootsmagic data base. When I go to the sync page and click on "add to FamilyTree", nothing happens. If I then go to Familyl Tree and enter the name manually and then try to sync with the new name, unable to do so. I have the latest update installed. I have exited the program and restarted my Rootsmagic without success. The only way I can sync data is to click on a person who is already synced and then see if new data is available. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

The Family Tree API appears to be down in certain areas. Right now you cannot add a RootsMagic person to FamilySearch using the FT API. Same issue on their website. FamilySearch development is aware of the issues and working on them.
