When I import portions of the FamilySearch, I notice that I always get just one set of parents for each person. Persons in the tree often have multiple parent couples, often duplicates that can't be easily merged, sometimes real conflicting ones, because fellow genealogists can't agree on which couple is right.

When I do the same with Ancestral Quest, I get all parent couples, so to me it looks like FamilySearch can supply all parents when needed, and this is a RootsMagic restriction. Is that right?

I am a Gramps user (and developer), and I only use RootsMagic to connect to the Family Tree.

As far as I knew it was a FT API restriction. I don't know how Ancestral Quest is getting around it. I put it on the tracking list for development to look at.
