Reports

- Lists

- Individual List - [Create Report]

- Selected people [Select from list]

- [Mark group] - Select people by data fields (wait for selection window)

- Burial - place - equals OR contains - "name of burial location" OR "partial name of burial location" - [OK]

- (number of people displayed) [OK] -[OK] - [Generate report]

I use the Individual List report frequently to find an existing record that matches criteria for new information found

zhangrau's technique is excellent. You might have to amend it slightly depending on whether you have entered the cemetery name into the Place field or into the Place Details field. His technique assumes you have entered the data in the burial place field - Burial -> Place -> Contains. If you have entered the data into the Place Details field, then you need to amend the search as follows - Burial -> Place Details -> Contains.

If you are going to run the same report multiple times, it might be worth creating a group. The search criteria for creating the group is the same as it is selecting people for the report without the group. But with the group created, you only have to select the group when creating the report. Also, having created the group, it's a great technique to put members of the group into RM"s main People View.

I uploaded a quick video to Youtube last night aimed a new refugees showing Groups and People View to work through some tidy up work, the only thing different for personal needs would be the search criteria.
