I found myself earlier wanting to update some of my groups and the easiest way for me to do it would be to search for all names with a certain color coding.  I have a large tree and to go through one person at a time takes forever.  If the "find" function under search people included a simple select all aqua colored names, etc. that would be amazing. Of course that would only include ancestors in that group as other relatives wouldn't be color coded.

I'd like to see more colors, too.  I've used all the ones you have.

You can already turn a color coding into a group (and you can turn lots of other things into a group - such as everybody named Smith or everybody born after 1900 or everybody who was buried in Texas, etc.

From the Groups sidebar: New->Mark Group->Select people by data fields, then Color coding is blue (or whatever color you wish).

Or, you can do it the other way around. Create a Group and Color Code the Group.
