I wish there was a way to "force" a Repository merge. In both the Place and Source lists, there is a [button] to merge duplicates. They don't have to be identical, the characteristics/properties of the primary Place/Source are kept. Why can't we do the same with similar-but-not-exact Repositories?

I have been thinking recently about the number of "Research Manager" type components and their possible future evolution within RM. This wish for merging Repositories also get my vote.

Customers should never be frustrated by things they cannot do.

You have my vote on the ability to manually merge repositories as well.
