I have all my files on a flash drive. I also have Roots magic 6.0 on my flash drive. Problem when I use my flash drive on different computers my home computer and it a N drive and where ever I go it is the F Drive. Problem is all my media are not found with a red x by them. I have went to tool fix media links but I have to do this every time I switch computers. Is there a easy fix for this so it will relink the images?

That's your best bet. http://windows.micro...r#1TC=windows-7

(there is a dropdown arrow menu to the right of the words 'Windows 7' that change the directions to 'Vista')

When you on another computer and you don't want to assign the flash drive a specific letter you can try this.

Go to Search>Search and Replace

Select "Multimedia filenames"

Search for: (add drive letter it is currently using for links) Example: N:\

Replace with: (change to drive letter images are now at) Example: F:\

Click OK

If folders have changed you can put add the path name up to the point

The media links will all be changed in one shot.
