... specifically the Commonwealth War Graves Commission (http://www.cwgc.org/)

I've followed the steps using the info in the book 'Getting the Most Out of RM6) and the on-screen help as you do it, but whenever I then add the results page to the list of custom search providers that's the only search results it ever throws up no matter which person I am using in my database.

Why?

What am I doing wrong?

Has anyone else managed to add this or other providers?

From the Site search:________<Go> (in the upper right corner) ... I got

http://www.cwgc.org/search-results.aspx?terms=John%20Doe%20(1700-1800)

which when I pasted it, per RM directions ...became this:

http://www.cwgc.org/search-results.aspx?terms=[Given] [Surname] ([StartYear]-[EndYear])

--- "GENEALOGY, n. An account of one's descent from an ancestor who did not particularly care to trace his own." - Ambrose Bierce
--- "The trouble ain't what people don't know, it's what they know that ain't so." - Josh Billings

OK ... well I've done that and pasted into the custom search providers as shown, but then when I use that as a search for, say Walter Atkinson Bird (who I know was killed in action in April 1917) it simply throws up the same list of sources, none of which are relevant and in fact are simply pdf documents about events and such like rather than a list of names. And just for argument's sake, I also know that he WA Bird IS there and can provide details for him on the site.

The real way to use the site is to type the name into the 'casualty name' box on the home page, but doing that doesn't work when linked via RM. THAT way definitely finds the casualties I'm looking for and throws up the URL http://www.cwgc.org/...ad.aspx?cpage=1 which, although it works for what I want as a stand-alone search, is no good when used with RM.

Very frustrating, but thanks for your help anyway.
