If I copy something from the web (e.g. an obit) to a text box in RM6 (e.g. citation detail text), the formatting carries over. I don't necessarily want all the formatting, bolding, font changes, etc in my notes. I generally try to remember to past first to notepad, then copy and paste into RM. Is there an easier way to do this? Some simple mechanism to paste text without formatting?

If the Windows "paste without formatting" shortcut CTRL+SHIFT+V key combo doesn't work for you, you can try to force from:

Inside the program:

Tools->Program Options->Use plain text when pasting to notes

Go to Tools>Program Options>General and change the checkbox for "Use plain text when pasting into notes"

Not sure how universal this is but I find 'web text' copied and pasted using firefox works better with RM than when I try same in IE
