Try uninstalling and reinstalling the app.

I have tried 4 different RM (6) files of varying sizes and installed and removed the Android version of RM on my Nexus 10 running Lollipop 5.0 at least 6 times. It downloads to Dropbox and then when I attempt to open the downloaded file the pedigree tree flashes and I get the message that RM has stopped.

The problem is the Lollipop operating system. There was a bug introduced with this operating system upgrade. Only Lollipop users are experiencing it. Development is working on this issue.

I just uninstalled / installed the RM app.  I also don't see a lollipop app on my phone.  Still not working.  I have an LG g3

Lollipop is Android's new operating system. Check your settings and see if the phone has version 5.

Yes, My android is running version 5.0.1  ... so we're waiting for RM to work around this version or is Google working to correct a problem?  Any information?

Thanks Renee.  Always good to get a response, and know that something is in the works.  Always appreciate the good work you folks do.  That's why I'm using RM.

I take it that this means we should not allow the Lollipop upgrade on Android phones either if we want to be able to access RootsMagic.  is that correct?

I wouldn't update my Android operating system to Lollipop if given the choice right now. It's not just the RootsMagic app that is having issues with that version of the operating system. That is why there is such a slow release of it.
