No photos show up in my website regardless if I have "Show photos" and/or "Show Primary photos only" checked.

Go to Lists>Media Gallery and check if you can see thumbnails of the images, and if any of them have a red X on them.

I must be missing something? I found a red x in my media folder, so I can never have photos on my rootsmagic7 website?

No, Renee was just offering what little advice she could with what little explanation/answers you've offered. If you found ONE red x in your media gallery, you can never have that ONE photo on your website

...until you fix the broken media link.

If you're willing to provide her a link to the website and describe something about

...what you've tried, are you on a Windows machine or a Mac, did you privatize some individuals, ETC.

Ask good questions, get good answers.

The X means that RootsMagic cannot find the media file by the name and path stored in the database. The tool Fix broken media links may help you reconnect, provided the file is somewhere on the computer. Then, the media file will be uploaded to the website when you Publish Online.

Thank you!

I deleted the one red x and just checked & there are no broken media links.

I republished my site and still no photos.

I am on a Windows 7 computer, I have privatized noone. I am very new to Rootsmagic, having switched from TMG recently. So the photos were imported from TMG.

What is the URL for your website?  Did you check the option to Include Photos and Primary Photo only if that is all you wanted. If you check Primary Photo only it won't give you any pictures.

Have you marked the photos that are missing as Primary in each tag for which you want them uploaded?

So I went and compared the photo media tags between the ones showing in the site and those not. The only difference was the ones that show up are those checked for both "Include in scrapbook for this person" and "Primary photo for this person". Thanks for the help and your patience with my impatience!
