Many times in my research I'll come up with a female and only know her maiden name.

For instance I might have something like this:

Catherine Stanley d/o

Joan Goushill d/o

Elizabeth FitzAllen d/o

Elizabeth de Bohun d/o

William de Bohun

Looking at Joan Goushill, I shall assume she married a Stanley; however I might have 100 Stanley men in my database.

Is there a way to run a quick report listing all of the Stanley men and their spouses?

Reports > Lists > Marriage List will give you all couples. You could sort by Husband's Surname (the default setting) to see all the Stanleys together.

Search > Family List: sort on Father gives you the same listing on screen with buttons to open the Edit Person screen on either the selected husband or wife.

A quicker way to find a Joan that maried a Stanley would be to use RM Explorer, NameFind.  Given name = Joan. Surname = Stanley

Or, as a search critera in Select people or Find:

Given or nickname, comtains, Joan

And, Surname (Birth or Married)
