I was sure that I had seen this before, but I can't seem to find what I am looking for in the search.

How can I make sure that the living flag is NOT the default when I enter a new person?  I didn't see anything in program options.

As the majority of the people I enter are deceased, I prefer to have the living flag OFF as the default.

No, you didn't see it anywhere.  "Checked" is the rigid default.

Since the Living flag determines who is privatized, RM takes the more conservative route in forcing you either to enter a Death (and/or Burial?) fact or manually change it to unchecked (not living).
