I am wondering if anyone has thoughts pro/con about using a Chromebook. Could I use my RM 2 Go in the USB drive of a Chromebook? I'm thinking of getting one but the drawback is that RM would not be downloaded on it. Thanks

RootsMagic is a Windows application and will not run under Chrome. Look for a Windows Netbook if you want something the size and price of a Chromebook but capable of running RM.

Be careful if looking at tablets with Windows. Windows RT will not run RootsMagic.

The following was overheard at a recent high society party...
"My ancestry goes all the way back to Alexander the Great," said one lady. She then turned to a second woman and asked, "How far does your family go back?"
"I don't know," was the reply. "All of our records were lost in the flood."
