When logging into FamilySearch with RM6 is it connected to New Family Search or Family Tree? Just wondering if the changes I make are being updated to NFS or FT? Is it checking Ordinances on NFS or FT?

Right now RootsMagic only syncs with New FamilySearch - http://new.familysearch.org . Not everything in NFS is updating to FamilySearch Family Tree, so you will see differences.

When FamilySearch gives us permission to sync with Family Tree then it will become a free update in RootsMagic 6.

When it becomes possible to sync your RM database to Family Tree on familysearch.org, will it upload your files including sources to Family Tree?

I do not want to download information from Family Tree to my database at this point.

Moving particular data back and/or forth between RM and nFS (soon to be FSFT) is completely determined by you on a manual basis, so not automatically.

A webinar on the process can be found at http://www.rootsmagi...arch/Tutorials .

It will be a requirement of FamilySearch that 3rd party vendors include sources when importing to Family Tree. This can only be done one person or fact at a time.
